2004-2006: Deputy Director, Air Transport Department, the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam, in charge of air transport policy, bilateral air negotiations, multilateral cooperation with ASEAN, APEC and WTO.

1992-2004: Senior expert, Air Transport Department, the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam, in charge of bilateral air negotiations, strategy for air transport development and cooperation in ASEAN, APEC and WTO accession negotiations.

1983-1992: Commercial Executive in charge of route planning and advertising, Commercial and Planning Department, the General Department of Civil Aviation which was the predecessor of the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam and Vietnam Airlines Corporation before December 1992.
